CI & CHARACTER Project
As the nation's only specialized robot research institute, KIRO has established itself as a core hub of South Korea's robotics industry by developing technologies across some 20 fields, implementing them in industrial settings, and providing corporate support.
The CI symbol mark of the Korea Institute of Robotics & Technology Convergence (KIRO) visually embodies the concept of "organic convergence between robots and humans," representing a future society where technology and humanity coexist.
The signature "K" reflects the institute's identity through a design inspired by the structural mechanisms of advanced robots, while the orange square at the top symbolizes the pinnacle of technological innovation driving progress toward a better life for humanity.In particular, the harmonious blend of straight lines and soft curves throughout the design illustrates the integration of robotic precision and reliability with human-centric flexibility and sensibility. This clearly demonstrates KIRO’s vision : that technology does not replace humans but rather expands and complements human life and industry, fostering a relationship of mutual growth.
